Greg Popovich's name tops the list of NBA regular-season wins. He sees it more as a team achievement.

"We all share this record," Popovich said Friday night after his record-breaking 1,336th victory as the San Antonio Spurs rallied to beat the Utah Jazz 104-102. "It's not mine. It's ours, here in town."

Popovich severed ties with Don Nelson, a friend and mentor under whom he worked with Golden State for two seasons.

The milestone came with Popovic's 2,030th game and the 26th season with the Spurs, the only franchise for which he has served as head coach.

Praise or celebration of an achievement is usually confused or ignored by Popovich. To hear Popovich's explanation, he simply shows up to work and takes the ball to the court.

Donovan Mitchell had 24 points for Utah and Rudy Gobert added 13 points and 16 rebounds.
