Former President Donald Trump on Friday dismissed his own daughter's testimony that the results of the 2020 presidential election were not rigged.

"Ivanka Trump was not involved in observing or studying the election results. He checked out a long time ago and, in my opinion, is just trying to be respectful of Bill Bar and his position as Attorney General.

Trump's rebuke to his daughter came at a Jan. 6 election committee hearing on Thursday

Recorded interviews with lawmakers Ivanka Trump, former Attorney General William Barr, and Trump's campaign advisers showed that the former president did indeed lose the 2020 election.

The House panel took a back seat at its first hearing, allowing Trump to illustrate the then-president's attempt to overturn the election results of allies and any connections he had with January 6, 2021.
