Platinum ticket winner Kennedy Anderson, 18, has been dropped from the 20th season of American Idol.

Early pioneers were one of the three contestants who won the coveted Platinum ticket that quickly tracked their Hollywood week.

With the departure of Anderson, one of the remaining 11 performers on Monday will be rounded out in the top 20.

Shortly after Anderson's performance in Christina Perry's 'Human', show host Ryan Seckrest made the announcement on tonight's show.

Similar money has been raised in the past. Just last year, another pioneer, Wyatt Pike, pulled in after the top 16 rounds, citing "personal reasons."
