In the second round of their fight at UFC 276 in Las Vegas on Saturday, Helena local O'Malley, accidentally stabbed her opponent Pedro Munhoz in the eye. The fight was declared a no-contest because Munhoz could not see through his sting.

The fight was ninth in O’Malley’s (15-1-1) UFC. O'Malley is ranked 13th in the official UFC Bantamweight rankings and Munhoz is 10th.

The fight was ready for a technical fight. Munhoz has 26 strikes while O'Malley has 25 strikes. O'Malley and Munhoz launched pay-per-view cards on Saturday

Munhoz, 35, proved unable to snap a five-fight stretch where he was only 1-4, although each defeat came against a current or former UFC champion.

T-Mobile Arena stopped the fight at 3:09 a.m. after consulting a caged doctor in the opening fight of the UFC 276 pay-per-view card, with an extended eyeball with his outstretched left hand in Round 2 compromising Pedro Munhoz's vision.
